Joseph Pilates believed "Change happens through movement, and movement heals."
I offer guided movement in a state-of-the-art studio to polish Stability, Stretch, Strength and Stamina.
Why Patina Pilates?
Because we desire bodies and minds that function with poise and polish at every age. We achieve and sustain them and with guidance, patience and persistence! I meet clients for sessions at KineticMKE Studio on Milwaukee’s East Side. Studio Co-owners Trey Fry, Meg Hopkins & Garrett Hurd DPT, have built a studio for a collective of highly trained Pilates instructors equipped with the finest apparatus from Contrology/Balanced Body, Peak Pilates and Deborah Lessen.

Pilates is for Every Body
My Pilates Journey Began as Rehab
My teaching practice is called Patina Pilates because I have experienced how the practice builds bodies and minds equipped to meet today’s challenges with poise and polish.
A decade of ICU nursing followed by 25 years at a computer or meeting table left me weak, tight and aching. Sports injuries followed.
After a few years of mat sessions at my gym I discovered that personalized instruction on studio apparatus was transformative. I began teacher training in ‘22 and completed Peak Pilates’ Level 2 in ‘24.
My clients have been as young as 87 years and include introductory, beginner and intermediate levels. Clients with joint replacement/ fusions, scoliosis and pregnancy have taken my classes with safety and success.
We can all progress with proper guidance, patience and persistence!
